I’m Breigh, and after about a year and a half in Cambridge, this place finally feels a lot more like home — in large part because of the friendships and community that have grown out of these meetups.
What started as a simple idea — moms deserve a night off — turned into a weekly tradition.
I originally started Thursday Night Therapy when I was still pretty new to Cambridge and missing the kind of easy, meaningful mom friendships I had in my previous community. I picked a spot, posted an invite, brought along a card game I created called Pour and Play: Mom’s Night Out Edition, and hoped a few people would show up.
Over the past year, we’ve laughed, vented, shared stories, made new friendships, welcomed new faces, and created exactly the kind of low-pressure space I was hoping for.
Now we’re switching things up a little:
Thursday Night Therapy is officially becoming Tuesday Night Therapy.

The vibe is still exactly the same: casual, welcoming, and very low stakes.
This is a post-bedtime hangout for moms who want to get out of the house, meet new people, reconnect with familiar faces, laugh, reset, and have a little time to just be themselves.
No pressure. No dress code. No expectation that you come every week.
Come in leggings or come in an evening gown. Come straight from bedtime chaos. Come alone. Come with a friend. Show up late. Leave early. Order a cocktail, mocktail, snack, or nothing at all.
If you’ve never been before, don’t feel like you’re walking into an established friend group where everyone already knows each other. New moms join all the time, and that’s the whole point. This was created to make it easier to meet people without all the awkwardness and pressure that can come with trying to make new friends as an adult.
