Join us for Tuesday Night Live at The Palms!Vocalist Angela Verbrugge brings her warm, captivating style to our brand new baby grand, joined by pianist Emmett Hodgins. Angela has established herself as one of the West Coast's most compelling jazz vocalists, winning the 2020 JazzTimes Readers' Poll for Best Female Vocalist.
Emmett Hodgins is a Victoria-born pianist proficient in classical, jazz, folk and contemporary piano. After teaching at the Victoria Conservatory of Music, Emmett moved to Toronto to pursue a Bachelor's in Jazz Performance at Humber College, graduating with Honours. He's now active in both the Toronto and Victoria music scenes as a pianist, singer, and bandleader.
