Join the North Alabama Sierra Club for their great Tuesday night hikes, starting THIS TUESDAY! (April 1) Tuesday night hikes in Monte Sano State Park are back for 2025! Meet at the Hiker's Parking Lot starting at 5:15 to sign in; hikes begin PROMPTLY at 5:30 so we can get back before sunset. Rated as strenuous because these are fast hikes; distance covered will depend on amount of daylight remaining. We will aim to get back to the trailhead 15-30 minutes before sunset. (Return time listed by facebook is approximate based on sunset!)
Bring sturdy shoes, water, snacks, hiking poles if you use them, and bug repellent/sun block as needed. Wear some blaze orange as well!
