I am delighted to welcome The Twangles, a dynamic banjo & cello duo, to their first appearance in the Tuesday Concert Series. I booked them at this year's Lawrence Busker Fest after hearing them several times around town, and their zany energy instantly won over the crowd. To quote their Facebook page, "The Twangles are a queer dirty blues band playing spooky swamp party music." Or, as they said in a press release, "stop on by if you need a glide in your stride and/or a dip in your hip."
And the rest of the fall season looks great too.
