Experience a truly unique festive hideaway in the heart of Newcastle’s Christmas Markets!
Perched on the plinth of the iconic Charles Grey Monument, our heated glass igloos give you front-row views over the twinkling market stalls, the sparkle of Grey Street, and the bustle of festive shoppers below.
Step inside your own cosy, luxury dome... warmly lit, beautifully dressed for Christmas, and perfectly sheltered from the winter chill. Whether you’re sipping prosecco 🥂, mulled wine 🍷, or rich hot chocolate ☕, it’s the perfect spot to relax, laugh, and make memories.
While you’re here, you’ll also have access to The North Pole Festive Hütte, serving a full range of festive drinks to enjoy in your igloo, from signature cocktails 🍸 and winter warmers 🍹 to beers, wines, and soft drinks 🥤.
✨ How It Works

Choose your date and time.
Reserve your igloo (just £30 for the whole dome & £60 during peak dates).
Gather your friends, family, or colleagues... each dome seats up to 12 people.
Enjoy your festive hideaway!
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 All ages welcome during the day, making our igloos perfect for family gatherings, festive meet-ups, or a well-earned Christmas shopping break.⚠️ After 8pm, domes are strictly 18+.

⏰ Arrival & Ticket Info:
All tickets are non-refundable.
Please arrive promptly at your booking time on the Metro side of the Monument. Late arrivals may not be accommodated, and refunds will not be offered.
No external beverages are allowed on site.
You may bring your own food, but please take your rubbish with you when you exit.
💰 Booking & Pricing Info

Fee: The listed price is for dome/igloo/lodge hire only. Drinks are purchased separately.
Food: You can bring food from the markets and enjoy it in your igloo.
Pricing history: The price you see reflects this year’s booking cost; any higher prices seen on social media are from previous years and are no longer applicable.
Group flexibility: Domes/igloos are flexible for your group size... you don’t need a full party to enjoy your booking. Maximum capacity: 12 people.
