Tudor House Christmas Decoration Embroidery Workshop

A three hour workshop offering a morning of gentle stitching inside our beautiful timber framed building. You'll create an embroidered timber framed house Christmas decoration using simple embroidery stitches AND have materials to take home to create more. You can use the unique designs we have created in-house or come up with your own creation. There'll be assistance on-hand if you need help learning new stitches.

Info: We'll meet in the Tudor Room at 10am to begin our three hour workshop. You'll be given enough materials to make three decorations. Museum staff will be on-hand to help you with new embroidery stitches and show you how to complete your decoration. We have created unique designs but there's room for your own creativity too if you'd like to draw your own design. You'll probably complete one decoration during the morning but have enough fabric and thread to take home and stitch more! There will be a short break half way through the morning for a coffee/tea and mince pie - provided as part of your ticket price.
