The Tucson Terrorfest Horror Con is an annual event celebrating the horror genre, featuring a variety of activities and attractions. The 2025 edition is scheduled for October 18th and 19th at the Ramada by Wyndham Tucson. This marks the 6th year of the convention, which has grown to include a diverse range of events and guests. In addition to the main convention, a Horror Film Festival will be held from October 16th to 19th at The Screening Room (127 E. Congress St) and Pidgin Palace Arts (1110 S 6th Ave). The festival will showcase new independent horror features, short films, music, and retro cult horror classics. A highlight of the 2025 event is the appearance of Mick Garris, a renowned figure in the horror industry with over 40 years of experience. Garris is known for his work on films and series such as 'Sleepwalkers,' 'Critters 2,' 'The Shining' (TV), 'Hocus Pocus,' 'The Stand' (TV), and 'Nightmare Cinema.' He will be present on both days of the convention and will have a screening at the film festival. For those interested in attending, tickets are available for both days of the convention.
