We’ve officially adopted the Alvernon Wash, and this cleanup kicks off our first event of 2026. Happy New Year!

Show up as the sparkly, leveled-up version of you — the one you’re stepping into for 2026.
Think:
Sequins, metallics, and iridescent fabrics
Glitter, shimmer, or “freshly molted desert creature” energy
A playful future-you persona ready to shine, pick up trash, and start the year clean
Glam, weird, subtle, or full-send Burner sparkle — whatever feels like your new you.
What to Bring & Know
👟 Closed-toe shoes REQUIRED — the desert has sharp surprises.
🧤 Tools provided: grabbers, reusable gloves, trash bags.
Bring your own disposable gloves if preferred.
🌞 BYOE: water, sun protection, snacks, and your beautiful vibes.
🔊 Merriment encouraged: lights & costumes, flow props, bubbles — let’s make it fun.
Avid will usually bring a speaker and have a playlist, but having backup music is always a good idea, we could potentially spread out and have different musical areas sometimes. If you’re not sure, bring it up in the group discussion, shoot me a message (Avid Antula) and I’ll let you know what I think.
