Starting as buskers in the French Quarter, they built their reputation one street corner at a time before becoming one of the most celebrated traditional jazz bands in the world. Their rรฉsumรฉ includes festivals in Mexico, Sweden, Australia, Italy, France, Switzerland, and Spain โ but theyโve never lost that street-level connection to their audience.
Their lineup is a living museum of early jazz instruments โ cornet, clarinet, trombone, tuba, tenor banjo, guitar, frottoir, and vocals โ all working together to bring the 1920s and 1930s back to life without ever sounding like a reenactment. Led by cornetist ๐๐ก๐๐ฒ๐ ๐๐จ๐ก๐ง, the group brings an energy that makes every performance unique.
This one almost always sells out. It starts at 5PM โ and tickets in advance are cheaper.
