TryItOut Scottish Country Dance

At Scottish Country Dance Victoria our mission is to get the message out about our wonderful dance style and give Melbournians the chance to have a go at SCD in 2025.

If you’ve ever done the Gay Gordons or Strip the Willow at a wedding or party you’re way ahead of the game. Come along and try some more terrific dances.

If you’re a complete newbie this is the place for you.

What will we be doing?

We will learn some of the famous ceilidh dances of Scotland and branch out into some easy set dances, the heart and soul of SCD.

We will be dancing walkthrough style which means walking – no fancy steps. 

It’s in Camberwell not far from the junction and next door to Willison Station.
