?♀️? Calling all Cyclists! Join Us for an Exciting Track Cycling Event! ?♀️?? Date/Time: Wed 22 May, 6:15 PM for a 7:00 PM start!
? Location: Tempe Velodrome (Bayview Ave, Earlwood). Plenty of onsite bike and car parking and Tempe station is a short walk away.
Open to women and men, get ready for an evening of learning all things track cycling led by @Cait Williamson from Dulwich Hill Bicycle Club!
Here's what you need to know:
1️⃣ We'll kick off the excitement at 7pm, so be sure to arrive by 6:15pm to get settled in (bike fit etc). We’ll wrap around 8:30pm, but who knows, we might keep the fun going depending on the vibes!
2️⃣ The best part? It's all FREE!
3️⃣ No bike? No problem! We've got bikes provided for you. Just remember to BYO everything else, including pedals.
4️⃣ You must have an AusCycling membership to ride:

5️⃣ Wondering what's in store? We'll start out on the warm-up track, where we'll learn drills for starting and stopping, and get comfortable on the bike. Then, we'll roll around the track to boost our confidence. Next up, it's "follow the leader" to master those banking turns, followed by pace line skills, starts, and maybe even some one-lap screamers — all depending on everyone's confidence and enthusiasm!
