The Bendigo Bushwalking and Outdoor Club invites you to join them on the Lofty Heights Of Mount Lofty Loop. Grade 2 (Medium). This walk is part of the Try Bushwalking Month, celebrating the 90th Anniversary of Bushwalking Victoria, the peak body representing 60+ bushwalking clubs across Victoria.Time to spring into action and tackle the lofty heights of Mt Lofty. The bush is alive with colour and it’s just the perfect time to get out and see a few relics in the Australian bush. Despite its lofty name, here is a mountain that defies description.
DISTANCE: A loop walk of approximately 12km with coffee and cake afterwards in beautiful Redesdale. It will last from 4.5-6hrs, including travel time.
ABOUT OUR CLUB: Walking with others is essentially a social experience while participating in exercise. The Bendigo Bushwalking and Outdoor Club is a small friendly club where new members are welcome. We conduct weekly walks and always try to end our walks at a coffee shop. We mostly walk in areas within an hour or two Bendigo.
