The Bayside Bushwalking Club invites you to join them at the Try Bushwalking Information Evening- Hampton Sailing Club. This event is part of the Try Bushwalking Month, celebrating the 90th Anniversary of Bushwalking Victoria, the peak body representing 60+ bushwalking clubs across Victoria.
This evening will help you with all your questions on walking with a club:
Day walks- What you need, what areas do we walk, the people in the club
Overnight walks- What sort of equipment is needed, can it be hired, how long are these walks
WHO IS THIS EVENT FOR? This information night is suitable for anyone with questions on joining a club for walking. There will be various people from our club, at different booths assisting on various topics.-Day walk equipment, backpack, poles, clothing
-General first aid that should be carried
-Overnight walking, equipment, camp gear- hiring, cooking when away
-General activities, how often and people in our club
