WHAT IS IT:
Our Cacao Dance Ritual works with:
> Ceremonial cacao from Ruk’ux’ Ulew (Heart of the Earth, a Mayan Women’s Collective) the medicine that illuminates the heart, infused with the blessings & prayers of the Mayan lands it grows in.
> Authentic expression: you are encouraged to be more of yourself. All emotions are welcome and celebrated. We will guide you in this from a trauma informed perspective. This is a safe space of expanding your capacity to feel it all.
> Dance/ movement: no set moves, no dance experience is needed. All you need is a body. Move in whatever way. No right, no wrong, just the truth of you in the moment.
> Music: All types, all genres! From classical to hip hop to disco… to psytrance!
> Connection: all of our dances incorporate an element of human connection. Afterall it is what we all yearn for. Simple, playful, verbal prompts from the heart with friends you haven't met yet.
