Truth Is Marching In Jazz Concert

The Palisades Hub Cap Centre Concerts, Brad Linde, and Transparent Productions present "Truth is Marching In" on election eve 2024!! Our event will feature live jazz performed by both local musicians and students from GDS and Burke. Thank you to the Palisades Hub for hosting thsi event which is free but donations would be much appreciated.

“Truth is Marching In” will feature streaming performances from bands in five different cities (including Washington, D.C.!) on Election Eve, culminating in a historic moment where all five bands will unite in a simultaneous rendition of the powerful anthem "Truth is Marching In" by Albert Ayler, creating a global harmony that echoes our shared call for unity and change. Organized by Jeff Lederer, this performance features music from his new album “Guilty!!!”

Catch the DC contingent LIVE!!! This will feature Dix Out jazz band with Brad Linde (reeds), Aaron Quinn (guitar), Liz Prince (tuba), and Deric Dickens (drums) plus the student ensemble The Little Beasts with Emiko Fitzgibbons (soprano) saxophone, Jack Jezior (piano), Zachary Henderson (bass), and Charles Lunde (drums).
