Today we formally recognize new members who have joined our community in the past year. The decision to join this or any other community is an act of trust. Trust what? That they will be welcomed, respected, heard, have a full chance to participate and be safe. And what does KU ask in return? That members trust that the leaders are doing their best, that every member has a right to their views and that we all have a duty to support this community as we are able.Presenter: Rev Brian Kiely // Worship Associate: Fae Shaw

ABOUT KELOWNA UNITARIANS
Kelowna Unitarians is a liberal, religious, spiritual community; we take seriously our commitment to a free and responsible search for truth and meaning. We welcome, recognize and celebrate the inherent worth and dignity in ourselves and each other regardless of all the ‘isms’ that might divide us. We are a designated ‘Welcoming Community’ which means we intentionally work to make this a safe place for the LGBTQ2SI+ community. We are brave, curious, and compassionate thinkers and doers. We are diverse in faith, history and spirituality but are aligned in our desire to make a difference for the good.
