This Introduction and Overview of TBRI® is designed to move from theory, to changed mindsets, from “what’s wrong with you? to “what happened to you?” to new relational skills, to behavioral application, and ultimately renewed relationships. Goals:
Lay the foundation for insight into the healthy developmental needs of children, including those who have experienced trauma
Create practical framework for intervention and application to support healthy relationships
Enhance understanding regarding
Seeing/interpreting behavior “Behavior is Communication”,
Responding appropriately to maintain connection.
