Lake Belton Trump Parade scheduled to start staging September 7th 1:00 p.m stagin boats Lake Belton Dam area. Launch early as parking at the boat ramps could be very congested. We will start the boat parade about 3:00 pm. Please proceed to the parade route in the following order.
The smaller boats like jet skis, flat bottom boats , bass boats, pontoons & small pleasure boats will start first heading toward the Sand Flats. Wake Boats, cruisers, powerboats and Houseboats will be last. Houseboat will be allowed to peel off and head to Float Party spot to set up anchor first alone. The rest of the boats will continue on parade route to the sand flats. Expect the cruising speed to be slow about 6-8 mph tops. The parade route will last about an 1 hr 15 minutes. Then you can come to float party.
All Larger powerboats big “V” bottom cruisers, wake boats, & Houseboats are asked to go at the end to avoid making large waves for other folks. Please respect the rules and don’t create dangerous waves for smaller vessels. We had about 690 boats in 2020 and should be considerably even larger due to recent events! We have booked a live band “ Ed Johns Music Trio ” that will play for the float party from 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm. Before he band we will have a DJ as well. Feel free to share this event with your other boating, fishing, recreational groups. We will have designated areas where this can be viewed by land as well. More details to follow. Stay tuned!!!
