Truman Headquarters Grand Opening Event Featuring: Alforno and Village Ice Cream

Truman Headquarters is proud to announce the upcoming grand opening of two of Calgary's most celebrated brands in West District, the city's newest downtown-adjacent neighbourhood destination. Alforno and Village Ice Cream will officially open their doors this Spring, bringing a best-in-class retail and dining experience to Calgary's west side.

West District blends Calgary's best-known brands with new signature staples, creating a vibrant, walkable community hub without the commute. Residents and visitors alike can now enjoy the city's most sought-after experiences just steps from home.

The official public opening celebration takes place on Saturday, April 4, 2026 from 11 am to 3 pm. The public is invited to explore the new Radio Park complex, visit the All Things GQ vintage bus, partake in some kids' activities, and enjoy complimentary music and exclusive signature products from each retail partner:

• Truman HQ: Complimentary rental suite tours and a West District “benefit card” giveaway for the community
• Alforno: A Signature Sundae Latte for purchase - vanilla latte with whipped cream, Village hot fudge, toasted pecans, and a cherry on top
• Village Ice Cream: Free kids scoop for all attendees and an exclusive cronut ice cream sandwich for purchase in collaboration with Alforno

Attendees who visit each retailer and complete a “punch card” supplied on-site will be entered to win a West District Destination Box that’s valued at over $1,000.
