Enrollments are open for our True Colors CAMP - Creative Arts & Music Program for children entering 2nd through 8th grade. *****This camp is FREE and open to the public but REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED and spaces are limited. If you find you are unable to attend after enrolling please contact Children's Director Elle Travis to cancel your enrollment and open the opportunity to another youth in our community.*****
Campers will experience a wide variety of arts and music programming including:
• CHORAL INSTRUCTION and INSTRUMENTS with Children's Choir Director, Maria Bartholomew (lovingly know as Mrs. B)
• VISUAL ARTS with Children's Director, Ms. Elle Travis, MURAL PAINTING in our children's hallway
• CHOREOGRAPHED MOVEMENT to some of our song selections
• DAILY DEVOTIONS with themes about kindness, inclusion, mental health self care and more!
• SERVICE WORK in downtown through the Clean Team project where we will learn about the importance of giving back to our community
• MEALS and SNACKS provided by Frankfort Independent Schools Food Service team
• FRIENDSHIP BUILDING through structured play, cooperative games and gym time
• STRONG MENTORSHIPS with enthusiastic, fun, caring and trained camp staff
• TIE-DYE project - a camper favorite!
Camp week will end with a performance on Friday, July 15 at 5pm and is open to the community.
