Trowbridge Stanza: Isabelle Thompson plus an Open Mic

Join the Trowbridge Stanza on Saturday 6 June at 2pm for the launch of Isabelle Thompson's pamphlet, Stalin's Parrot. The event will also include an open mic.

Isabelle Thompson is a graduate of Bath Spa University’s MA in Creative Writing, where she now works as a research assistant supporting programmes focused on story and inclusive ecosystems of support for writers. She has been widely published in magazines, was shortlisted for the Bridport Prize 2025, was winner of the 2022 Poets and Players competition, and was a finalist in the 2021 Mslexia competition.Stalin’s Parrot is Isabelle’s debut pamphlet, and it is published with Poetry Space.
