Troublemakers’ Cabaret: It’s Nothing Serious
About this Event
Step into a world of rockin’ revelry where high-energy pop meets punk attitude, live music meets sultry burlesque, and a little bit of good trouble is never a bad thing.
Troublemakers’ Cabaret: It’s Nothing Serious is Los Angeles’ newest variety show, blending a live band performing pop, rock and pop-punk favorites with seductive burlesque, sharp comedy and top-tier talent. Grab a cocktail, settle in and let the night carry you away—after all, it’s nothing serious…
Troublemakers’ Cabaret was created by performers and visual artists Mercedes and Elizabeth Strano.
A classically trained dancer, Mercedes began her burlesque career in 2015 with Diamond Darlings Cabaret and has since performed and choreographed for Ladies in Lace Burlesque Troupe and other productions. Her inspirations range from the Pussycat Dolls, Britney Spears and Hilary Duff to Olivia Rodrigo, Arctic Monkeys, The 1975 and the incomparable Eartha Kitt.
Elizabeth Strano is a burlesque performer and visual artist with a love of neon lights, classic ’80s rock and living with just the right amount of semi-reckless abandon. She has performed with Ladies in Lace, Empowerment in Heels, A Night Of… Las Vegas and The Secret Circus, drawing creative inspiration from artists and storytellers including Josephine Baker, Anthony Bourdain and Noah Kahan.
Please note The Velvet Martini Lounge has a $35 per-person food and beverage minimum nightly, which will be observed during this performance.
