Tropicals at Sunset is back in the Barrel Room. 🌿🍻
We are heading back to Triple Crossing Beer (Fulton) for our monthly plant night. If you have been looking for a casual way to connect with the local plant community, grab a great brew, and browse unique greenery, this is the spot.
As always, admission is completely free. This is where our community gets together in person to talk shop, trade, and hang out.
⏰ The Schedule
Our vendors setup with their best inventory right at the start, so arriving early is recommended if you want first pick of the tables.
5:30 PM: Public Doors Open and Vendor Market Begins
6:15 PM: Sip and Learn Mini-Demo 1 (Glenn Sutor: Designing & Planting a Carnivorous Plant Display)
7:00 PM: Sip and Learn Mini-Demo 2 (The Art of Propagating Rare Aroids)
7:45 PM: Buyer Raffle Drawing and Last Call for Vendor Sales
8:00 PM: Market Closes
💎 What to Expect
Local Tropical Vendors: We are hosting 5 to 10 regional vendors with rare aroids, unique imports, and house plants you won’t find at standard nurseries.
The Community Swap Area: Bring a healthy plant or cutting to trade with fellow hobbyists.
The Care and ID Desk: Bring photos of your struggling plants for troubleshooting and expert advice.
The Buyer Incentive Raffle: For every $20 spent at a vendor booth, you will earn a ticket to win an organization-sponsored rare plant prize.
⚠️ The Clean Green Rule: To ensure everyone's personal collections stay safe, all plants brought for the community swap area must be completely clean of pests.
