Tromsø Walking Meditation Series at Telegrafbukta

🌿 What this is...
Join us for a summer series of walking meditations in Telegrafbukta, one of Tromsø's most beloved coastal landscapes. Together we'll slow down and explore the shoreline, Arctic light, sea, sky, and living rhythms of this place through mindfulness, curiosity, and the senses.
🌊 What the walk feels like...
We’ll move together through the landscape with gentle guidance along the way. We will offer simple invitations to help you settle into your body, your senses, and the environment around you, so you don’t have to think about what to do or how to do it.
At the same time, everything is optional. You’re always encouraged to follow your own rhythm, to pause, wander, or simply be as you are. The invitations are there as support, not something to get right.
After each invitation, we’ll gather for a round of optional sharing…if you feel like sharing something you noticed, or just listening to others. Silence is always welcome, and you’re free to participate in whatever way feels most natural to you.
🌿 Who this might be for...
This space tends to resonate with people who are:
~ burnt out or overwhelmed
~ in transition or carrying a lot
~ feeling stuck in the head and wanting something more embodied
It’s also a good entry point if traditional meditation hasn’t felt accessible. No experience or special skills are required…you are welcome just as you are.
🌳 What you might notice...
Sometimes people leave feeling:
… a bit more settled and calm
… a bit more connected to the body and ground
… a bit more able to slow down and breathe
… a little less alone in what they’re carrying
… a sense of being supported by the environment around them
Whatever you’re arriving with is welcome here...there’s space for quiet, for rest, and for whatever might move or soften along the way.
☺️ A bit about us...
Hi, we are Soren and Kirien. We're partners living and working in Oslo, returning to Tromsø each summer to deepen our relationship with the land, sea, and beautiful northern landscape. Through walking meditation, mindfulness, and community gatherings, we invite others to slow down, listen more deeply, and experience a greater sense of connection with both place and self.
While in Tromsø, we are available for individual sessions before or after the walks, or at another time by appointment. Those interested in a tarot are also welcome to meet with Kirien for a reading by the shore, where they'll often be set up at a nearby picnic table following the walk. Feel free to ask us for details.
