The Pint of Science festival is back #pint22no!Pint of Science is an annual science festival that takes place every May and brings researchers to your local bar. Learn about the latest happenings in the world of science while enjoying a drink.
This evening you will meet three outstanding researchers from UiT:
“Could enzymes be a solution for a greener future? Bjarte Aarmo Lund is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Chemistry. His innovative and forward leaning talk is titled “Cold-adapted enzymes for Science and Profit”.
Can cancer drugs make bacteria antibiotic resistant?” This talk from Jónína Sæunn Guðmundsdóttir, research fellow at the Department of Pharmacy, takes us to the core of her relevant and important research.
Sybil Akua Okyerewa Obuobi is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Pharmacy. She takes us into the slimy universe of biofilms and teaches us about how “Fat bubbles and DNA help sneak antibiotics into biofilms”.
