TriWiSTEM - Honoring Women’s Work: Power, Pay & Parity

In recognition of Women’s History Month, Triangle Women in STEM invites you to join us for an evening of connection, learning, and dialogue at Honoring Women’s Work: Power, Pay, & Parity—a conversation focused on the gender pay gap and its impact on women in STEM.

The evening will begin with networking and light refreshments, creating space to connect across industries and career stages. We’ll then move into a data-informed conversation exploring the historical roots of pay inequity, national and local wage data, and the real-world practices shaping compensation in STEM today.

Event Format

• 5:00pm: Networking reception to kick off the evening (light apps & beverages included)
• 6:15pm: Overview of the U.S. gender pay gap, including historical and regional context
• 7:35pm: Moderated panel discussion with people managers and industry leaders
