Outlier Media and Detroitography are teaming up for a one-of-a-kind Detroit Trivia Night — a lively community event celebrating local journalism, mapmaking, and Detroit pride.

Join us at Brewery Faisan on Feb. 4, for a geography-inspired trivia experience designed in collaboration with Alex B. Hill, anthropologist, cartographer, and founder of . Outlier Media's civic life reporter Briana Rice will be back to test your knowledge of Detroit’s neighborhoods, history, culture, and landmarks while connecting with fellow Detroiters in a welcoming, fun atmosphere.

From the city’s unique street grid to its industrial past and vibrant communities today, this trivia night blends storytelling, data, and maps to bring Detroit’s history to life. Whether you’re a lifelong resident, a map lover, or simply curious about the city, you’ll learn something new — and maybe even take home bragging rights (and FREE prizes!).
