Triumph Over Trauma

Trauma Over Triumph is a 2.5-hour educational and experiential program designed to address a critical and often underrecognized driver of health outcomes: the impact of stress and trauma on the mind and body.

A growing body of research demonstrates that chronic stress and unresolved trauma influence pain perception, immune function, inflammation, emotional regulation, and healthcare utilization. These factors are especially relevant in individuals living with chronic and rare hematologic conditions, where stress and psychological burden can significantly impact disease experience, yet remain under-addressed in traditional care models.

This program provides a clear, research-informed overview of how the mind works, including how subconscious patterns are formed and how past experiences continue to shape behavior, emotional responses, and overall well-being. Participants will gain practical insight into why people behave the way they do and how these patterns can be shifted.

To reinforce this learning, the program includes a guided sound healing experience, offering a real-time demonstration of how integrative, mind–body approaches can support nervous system regulation. Evidence suggests that such approaches may help reduce stress, promote relaxation, and improve emotional resilience—key factors in overall health and quality of life.

By the end of the program, participants will leave with greater self-awareness, practical tools for nervous system regulation, and a deeper understanding of the connection between mind, body, and health that they can apply in their daily lives and, for providers, in clinical practice.
