Tristan. (Live At The Ellington Jazz Club)

After living and working in London for the past three years, Tristan returns to present his music in Perth for one night only!
Bringing back the original ensemble.
Featuring:
Jayden Blockley on Tenor Saxophone
Alistair Peel on Double Bass
& Daniel Harrison on Drums.
Tristan's music is introspective, and high energy. The compositions blend indie-folk, modern jazz, cinematic textures and a bunch of improvisation!
Tristan has four recorded albums
- The Genesis Project, a jazz quintet exploring the concepts of Genesis in 7 parts.
- Losing What’s Not Mine, an indie-folk album, accompanied by cinematic strings.
- Misc, a solo piano album recorded live at the Ellington Jazz Club.
- Internal Dialogue, his most recent reflective jazz quartet sound.
Drawing inspiration from artists like Ambrose Akinmusire, Brad Mehldau, Bon Iver, and Lizzy McAlpine. Tristan has performed all over the world. Including, but not limited to London, Berlin, Paris, Spain, Melbourne and of course, Perth, Western Australia.
He looks forward to coming home and presenting the music in it's original format. Plus seeing his friends and working with his mates ;)
