I am THRILLED to have local favs and Hot Rhythm Holiday’s reigning Triple Threat Champions, Kelly Young and Matt Richey teach this very special Workshop! Come Shuffle, Kick and Swing Out with us! 🥳
This will be an Intermediate/Advanced level Workshop. **ALL attendees MUST have Intermediate experience in ALL THREE DANCES to attend.**
The focus will be on Transitions! In other words, Matt and Kelly will not be teaching how to dance these dances..instead we will be taking a deep dive on how to make transitions between Lindy Hop, Balboa and Collegiate Shag flow naturally, and interestingly, making frame changes without breaking connection or communication with our partners. And yes, there will, of course, be some super fun move content as well! Because, after all, it’s Matt and Kelly! 🎉
Availability in this Workshop will be EXTREMELY limited! Only 8 Leads and 8 Follows will be permitted so we can ensure we have enough space for all the things! 😄 So sign up TODAY to ensure you’re spot in this super cozy Workshop!! 🤩
SCHEDULE:
2:00pm - Workshop begins!
3:15-3:30 - Quick break
3:30-5:00 - Workshop closes.
5:00-5:30 - Open practice/Social Dance/Q&A

WHERE:
At Olivia’s family home across the street from Disneyland’s California Adventure Park. **NOTE** This is a private residence so the address will be given upon request! 🥰
WHAT TO BRING:
-Shoes that are comfortable for Lindy, Bal and Shag. My floor tends to be very fast!! So please bring one or two options just in case you need to decrease or increase grip! 😉
-Water (there will be a refill spot! AKA our fridge. 😄)
-Any snack you’d like to bring!
