  • Additional copies of the books will be available for purchase at the event.
  • A signing will follow the talk.

April is National Poetry Month! Celebrate the wonders of the written word with an evening of readings and signings, featuring three award-winning poets with brand new collections out now!

Monica Ferrell is the author of a novel and three books of poetry, including the forthcoming The Future (2026); You Darling Thing (2018), a finalist for the Kingsley Tufts Poetry Award and the Believer Book Award in Poetry; and Beasts for the Chase (2008), winner of the Kathryn A. Morton Prize and a finalist for the Asian American Writers Workshop Prize in Poetry. Her poems have appeared in The New Yorker, The New Republic, The New York Review of Books, American Poetry Review, A Public Space, Paris Review, Ploughshares, The Baffler, The Yale Review, and Poem-a-Day, and have been widely anthologized, most recently in A Century of Poetry in the New Yorker and The Penguin Book of Indian Poets. Born in New Delhi, she lives in Vermont.

Bianca Stone is a Vermont-based poet and scholar currently serving as Vermont's poet laureate. Stone is the author of many books, including the poetry collections What is Otherwise Infinite which received the 2022 Vermont Book Award, and The Near and Distant World, (Tin House in January, 2026). Her poetry and writings have appeared widely in such magazines as The New Yorker, The Atlantic, Poets and Writers, and The Nation. In 2013 she co-founded the poetry-based nonprofit, Ruth Stone House, where she organizes events and retreats, teaches classes on poetry and poetic study, hosts the

Craig Morgan Teicher is the author of four books of poems: Welcome to Sonnetville, New Jersey (BOA, 2021), which won the Paterson Poetry Prize; The Trembling Answers (BOA, 2017), which won the 2015 Lenore Marshall Poetry Prize from the Academy of American Poets; To Keep Love Blurry (BOA, 2012); and Brenda Is in the Room and Other Poems, (CLP, 2007), winner of the Colorado Prize for Poetry. He also wrote Cradle Book: Stories and Fables (BOA, 2010) and the chapbook Ambivalence and Other Conundrums (Omnidawn, 2014). His collection of essays, We Begin in Gladness: How Poets Progress, was published by Graywolf in 2018. His next collection of poems, August, September, October, will be published in Spring 2026 by BOA.
