Come visit the Fledge to help put up the 2025 Fledge Foundation TEEN Giving TREE! We will put the tree together, make ornament tags for the teens' wish lists and hang them up. We anticipate this task only taking the first hour to complete.
Craft supplies will be available for anyone who feels like making something or being creative throughout the event time, 10 AM until 2 PM.
There will be hot chocolate, juice, water and cookies and places to sit. Feel free to bring a dish to share!
We'll have music going and you'll be welcome to tour the Fledge, take free resources, make crafts or just hang out and vibe with friends.
We also hope you will find a teen's holiday wish list tag to take with you!!
HERE IS THE INFO ABOUT THE FLEDGE FOUNDATION TEEN GIVING TREE:
The Fledge Foundation would like to invite you to our community gift giving program for LANSING YOUTH who are from single parent income homes living below the ALICE Threshold and in poverty. We are collecting winter holiday gifts for children ages 13 to 19 years old for this 2025 holiday season, be it Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Yule, or other.
TEENS 13-19 ONLY! There are multiple other local organizations that help young children and whole families.
This is a supplemental program and it is not intended to provide everything a family could want, but rather help a family out with filling in a few blanks for their children. Gift givers will be asked to spend $50, but any gifts on a child's behalf will be accepted, even if less than $50 worth.
The teens' wish lists will be on the tree, located at The Fledge, 1300 Eureka Street from Sunday, November 9th through Sunday, December 14th.
All gifts for teens will be due to The Fledge by Wednesday, December 17th.
