One way that Christians have kept a yearly remembrance of the death and resurrection of Jesus is to gather at the end of Holy Week for one service that is long . . . so long it takes place over three days. The three-day service is called (here’s your Latin word for the day!) The Triduum. Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and the first service of Easter – the Easter Vigil, are the Great Three Days. The Triduum is the center of the Christian year, binding Lent and Easter: a three-day immersion in the drama and mystery of Christ’s death and rising. Each service starts at 7pm. Childcare will be available.
