Tridonic's Talking Building's Event
About this Event
If a building could talk, what would it say?
For decades, much of the building industry’s attention has been focused on design, construction and handover. Yet a building spends more than 90% of its life in operation – and it is during this time that value is ultimately created or lost.
Today, buildings generate more information than ever before. Lighting, HVAC, sensors, occupancy systems and connected assets can all tell us how a space is being used and how well it is performing.
But are we really listening?
Join us on Thursday 1st of October, from 12.30 at the Business Design Centre, for a conversation about the next stage of building intelligence: moving beyond individual smart systems to create buildings that can listen, learn and respond.
We’ll explore some of the challenges facing the industry. More importantly, we’ll look at how building data and closer collaboration across the industry can turn information into meaningful action.
Hosted by Tridonic, the event will feature guest speakers:
- Ashley Bateup, Mymesh
- Gavin Welsman, Giacomini
- Glenn Darlison, Land Securities
Buildings are already talking. The question is: are we ready to listen?
