The event is chock full of trick-or-treating, ghoulish music, face painting, jump castles, refreshments, kids' crafts, and more. It offers a 5K fun run/walk and stroll, where participants should be on the lookout for friendly ghosts and goblins along the way and a Boo Fest full of ghoulish entertainment, candy, and a costume contest.
Fun run/walk participation is not required. All are welcome to attend any time during the event from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. and participate in any or all of the available activities. Candy will be available on course and in the event area. Food will be available for additional purchase.

Entry Fee and Registration
Register Online
Early registration is $20 per vehicle (maximum 15 people per standard-size vehicle) and ends on Wednesday, October 23. If the event has not sold out, registration will be available onsite for $25 per vehicle.
Registration includes a custom trick-or-treat bag and finisher medal.
Race/Event Details
The fun run will begin at 10 a.m. and is an untimed event.
Packet pickup will be from 9-9:45 a.m. on the day of the event.
The Boo Fest will begin at 10:30 a.m. and will feature entertainment, activities, and a costume contest. Food and drink will also be available for purchase.
Prizes will be awarded for the costume contest in the following categories:
Under 6
Ages 6-8
Ages 9-10
Ages 11-15
Ages 16-20
Ages 20 and up
Best Pet
Best Duo
Best Group of 3 or more
Dogs are welcome, but must remain leashed at all times.
Smoking, vaping or tobacco use is prohibited at Charleston County Park & Recreation Commission owned and operated facilities, programs and events.
Accessibility
The fun run is open to runners and walkers of all levels, including beginners. Accessible parking and restrooms are available. The route includes a grass meadow and paved trails. This is a loop course with water stations and an optional shortcut route.
