Trick R' Treat (2008)

Trick R' Treat (2008) is a modern, highly rewatchable horror anthology that captures the ultimate spooky spirit and traditions of Halloween better than almost any other film. Instead of separate vignettes, the movie features five overlapping stories set on the same night in a small Ohio town, where characters and events cross over seamlessly as It dives deep into the folklore, rules, and urban legends of the holiday—like checking your candy, keeping a jack-o'-lantern lit, and respecting local traditions. Plus, no one can forget Sam, a small, burlap-masked, pumpkin-loving trick-or-treater who enforces the unwritten rules of Halloween.
