For nearly 40 years the New South Festival Singers have celebrated and championed the music of black composers and of the African-American experience. The Festival Singers "Tribute to the American Black Composer" each February offers Atlantans a unique experience that reflects the rich diversity of our community. Music Director Lynn Swanson leads Atlanta's beloved a cappella choir and musical guests in songs, spirituals, classics and gospels reflecting some of America's greatest contributions to the art of music.
