About this Event

✨ А unique concert on December 22nd will take place in an ancient church in the heart of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. The programme of the evening includes the music of the world-famous composer Hans Zimmer performed by award - winning concert pianist Varvara Tarasova and La Chapelle Sauvage orchestra (Belgium) in an intimate & relaxing atmosphere.

Exclusive guest of the concert is the La Chapelle Sauvage orchestra, which will come from Belgium, especially for the performance of this program.

Zimmer is the author of soundtracks for films about James Bond, Interstellar, Inception, Dune, Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean and hundreds of movie hits. A mesmerizing combination of piano music and creative video projections, created especially for this evening, and a glass of wine at welcome will make the evening unforgettable. The live sound of an authentic Steinway & Sons instrument is at arm's length.

Hans Zimmer is one of the most famous, influential and commercially successful film composers of the 21st century. A man who has had a tremendous impact on the recent history of Hollywood cinema and pop culture in general. He was born to a Jewish family in Germany, but moved to London as a child. Having lost his father early and grieving for the loss, Hans found refuge in music.

In Hollywood, Hans Zimmer is called the "German machine". During his long career, he never paused in work and did not lower the bar of quality. A master of dizzying, suspenseful symphonic parts and electronics, Zimmer became especially popular thanks to his collaboration with director Christopher Nolan. Hans worked on almost all of his films.

The concert program includes selected compositions from the films Gladiator, Inception, Interstellar, Pirates of the Caribbean and many others.

? All guests will be invited to enjoy a welcome drink before the show.

? PERFORMERS

La Chapelle Sauvage - is a artistic house with many rooms. It saw light by impuls of the Belgian conductor Karel De Wilde as a teamwise and international initiative of young professional musicians coming from all over the world. What gathered them is a wild and untameable musical ambition with a contemporary, critical and reflective attitude. In addition to a large classical repertoire, they gladly venture various projects in multiple styles. Notwithstanding the solid core, their instrumentation continually modifies according to the repertoire which contains a wide variety of chamber music as well as works for symphony orchestra and regularly collaborates with choirs and international soloists. Ever in search for a creative and responsible performance, hereby using the knowledge and techniques which are known to us today.

"We are wildly enthusiastic to be musicians, a unique medium through which people are called to a better self. Music has the undisputed capacity to make this world a better place. Music can soften the heart, open the mind, reconcile, break down barriers, heal, educate, assist the needy, comfort the lonely, boost support for good causes and pave the way for peace." Karel De Wilde - artistic director of La Chapelle Sauvage

Varvara Tarasova (piano)
