Tribute to Bruce Springsteen & Tracy Chapman in SLO

Bruce Springsteen and Tracy Chapman have shared a few stages over the years, and now Songwriters at Play brings them together again, with a celebration of their songs performed by local and touring musicians. Show begins at 7pm at Humdinger in San Luis Obispo.

We'll include Bruce classics like "I'm On Fire", "Because the Night", and "Pink Cadillac". And yes, "Fast Car" and "Gimme One Reason" are in the show, as well as deep catalog surprises.

The Sept. 13 lineup includes Bob & Wendy, Barry McGuire, Holly Ann Lewis, Victoria Roberts, Emily Zuzik, Toots Prichard, Jesse Loren Strickman, and The Dennis & Laura Show.

Host Steve Key has appeared at Humdinger many times, as host of the monthly songwriters showcases, and several tribute concerts, including Merle Haggard, John Prine, Jerry Jeff Walker, Nanci Griffith, Chris Stapleton, and Brandi Carlile.
