Tribe Of Ghosts

Described in a recent review as "Intense, emotional, overwhelming and ultimately uplifting", headlining the proceedings are the Industrial/Post-Metal 4-piece Tribe Of Ghosts.

The band's current artistic vision came to fruition at the beginning of 2022 by combining electronic soundscapes, eclectic extreme metal influences and pop vocals with haunting and devastating effects.

TOG have had an exciting year since relaunching their live show in June '22. Not only did they receive rave reviews for their Bloodstock Open Air performance on the New Blood Stage, they have been invited back to perform on the Sophie Lancaster stage to open Bloodstock Open Air 2023.

The band have been in the studio finishing up their debut album and, with this headline show, they will be unleashing their first statement of their intentions for the year ahead.

FORLORN

Formed in late 2019, FORLORN blend folk horror and paganism to carve out their own brand of 'Midsommar Metal'. The juxtaposition of ethereal vocals and haunting soundscapes with chaotic drums and crushing low-level guitars, paired with Megan’s brutal screams, bring together Forlorn’s unique sound and visual identity.

Latest single ‘Hold Me’ (set for release October 31st 2022 via The Silent Cult), which was written as a platonic love song, lyrically explores the subject of codependency and the emotional and mental strains that manifest as a result. A deeply personal track, 'Hold Me' pushes Forlorn's instrumental boundaries ever further blending groove-laden riffs, punishing breakdowns and soaring vocal melodies. Once again, the new track is accompanied by a stunning Samhain-inspired music video (filmed by PurpleYam Productions), throughout which there is symbolism which is symbiotic of family constellation and this phase of the year. We see the honouring of ancestors passed through the building of the altar, a sense of community and tribe through the foraging scene and a feeling of strained family dynamics through the harvest feast scene.

With Forlorn's previous singles 'Old Wounds' and 'Redeem, Release' having received tremendous support from the likes of Kerrang!'s Alex Baker and following a very successful first year of live shows (supporting Devil Sold His Soul, Svalbard, Ithaca, Harbinger and more), the UK Metallers continue to propel ever forwards.

All Hail Dog

Well Well Well, Ladies and Gentlemen and everyone in between, we present to you All Hail Dog (cue carnival music).

Newly formed from fragments of the hot-bed Brighton metal scene, members are; Armandine, queer lead singer/guttural vocalist who sang in Damn Carnival (ex Left Arm Pregnant), Phil, mad bass player who played in tech band Hole in The Sky and Brighton hardcore stalwarts XVLTR rejoins old band-mate Damien Soskin, talented Duracell Drummer who was also in XVLTR and produces Drum and Bass under his own moniker ‘Pathfinda’. Their newest member, guitar wizard Bosh Cam has produced several solo albums including the prog project Sentian and the solo album Theseus & the Minotaur.

All Hail Dog are a band that is hard to pigeon-hole, a mix all of its members’ eclectic tastes from metal to prog, cabaret to French chanson, psych to alt rock, and southern stoner to female fronted (not a genre, we know).

Having been asked to play Bloodstock 2022 after only a few gigs, they have been playing catch up to get their first EP recorded.
