Join us for a relaxing and creative clay workshop where you’ll hand-build and decorate your very own botanical plate! In this session, we’ll explore simple slab-building techniques to form your plate, alongside under-glazing painted floral designs inspired by nature then bring it to life with sgraffito carving.
Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned maker, this class is all about slowing down, getting hands-on, and creating something truly one-of-a-kind. Choose your own coloured clay, experiment with surface textures, and finish with a beautifully functional sgraffito plate ready to be fired and glazed.
When: Sunday 7th June 11 -1pm
Where: The Seed Art School- 3/1a Blackbutt Rd. Port Macquarie NSW 2444
Your pottery takes 2-3 weeks to dry, then we will bisque fire it. No need to book into a glaze day as we will clear glaze for you and refire. Your plate will be ready to collect in 4 weeks.
All supplies, an apron to wear, firing and clear glaze is included for $85.
