Just as repairmen Val (Kevin Bacon) and Earl (Fred Ward) are ready to leave behind their boring lives in Perfection, Nevada, a series of mysterious deaths occurs and a concerned seismologist (Finn Carter) arrives in town to research unnatural movement below the ground. It’s up to this group and the townspeople to come together to protect themselves from giant subterranean worms hungry for flesh. Inspired by the monster films of the 1950s, Tremors brought these motifs into the 90s, where it attracted a cult following on the home video market after its initial box office failure.This screening is free for members and will be followed by a panel discussion with MU researchers.
