K2 Basecamp trek is a dream trek for anyone associated with trekking and adventure. One of the most rewarding treks in the heart of Karakorums, this trek offers a window of opportunity to view some of the world’s highest peaks including K2 (8611m), which is the 2nd highest in the world.The entire trip covering this is done in around 14 days, Skardu to Skardu, including 9 days of trekking. The trek also optionally includes crossing the high altitude Ghondogoro La (5590m) that connects the Braldu valley with Hushe.
This is a strenuous trek that requires physical fitness, good stamina and prior trekking experience.

DAY 1 – Skardu to Askole/Jhula (3100m, 9-10 hours)
DAY 2 – Panmah Valley Acclimatization Walk (Optional)
DAY 3 – Jhula to Paiyu (3450m, 8-9 hours)
DAY 4 – Rest Day at Paiyu
DAY 5 – Paiyu to Khuburse (3990m, 6-7 hours)
DAY 6 – Khuburse to Urdukas (4050m, 3-4 hours)
DAY 7 – Urdukas to Goro2 (4380m, 7-8 hours)
DAY 8 – Goro2 to Concordia (4650m, 5-6 hours)
DAY 9 – Rest Day/K2 Basecamp
DAY 10 – Concordia to Ali Camp (4800m, 5-6 hours)
DAY 11 – Ali Camp to Khuspang (4600m, 10-12 hours)
DAY 12 – Khuspang to Saicho (3350m, 7-8 hours)
DAY 13 – Saicho to Skardu (8-9 hours)
