Join Big Thompson Watershed Coalition for our first ever Trek the Thompson fundraising “poker walk/run” event! This FREE exciting, family friendly event will take place on Saturday, October 2nd, from 9am-12pm at Fairgrounds Park in Loveland, CO.
The event features a 3-mile trek along the Big Thompson River with fun, education stations to learn about your river system, its fish and wildlife, and how important it is to us all! At each education station you will receive a playing card and at the end you can play your best 5-card poker hand to win awesome prizes, including gift certificates to a number of delicious local restaurants, a night stay at Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch, 2 tickets to an Eagles hockey game, tickets to Mannheim Steamroller at the Budweiser Event Center, handmade raku pottery, and much more!
