We can’t hug them all. So, which ones can we hug? Trees specially adapted to living in the extremes of the Mojave Desert have ways to protect themselves and the water that keeps them alive. Before you hug a tree, you need to know all about it. Learn how to identify a huggable tree, what adaptations keep it alive and what part it plays in the survival of the animals living around it. This program is appropriate for 1st grade through 5th grade children. No younger siblings will be allowed to participate. Parents are welcome to enjoy the park with younger or older siblings while program is going on.
Registration opens on Friday January 24 and closes on Thursday January 29th or when program limit is reached
