Trees of Joy is Make-A-Wish New Zealand’s signature festive
season activation, transforming Christmas into a deeply personal and meaningful experience for wish children and their entire families.
Corporates and Supporters are invited to become Tree Sponsors ($4,500 per tree) and are each paired with a wish child to co-create a beautifully customised Christmas tree inspired by the
child’s personality, interests, and wish journey. Each tree becomes a unique expression of hope, joy, and imagination.
The experience culminates in an exclusive, invitation-only unveiling event, where sponsors, supporters, and families come together to celebrate the season. At the event, guests hear powerful wish stories, witness the unveiling of each personalised
tree, and share in a moment of connection and celebration (and a few tears).
Following the event, each tree is delivered to the wish child’s home, extending the magic of the experience into their family life throughout the holiday season.
Trees of Joy aims to raise urgent funds to ensure future wishes can be granted. Childhood critical illnesses can take so much from a family. Trees of Joy represents the power of community, uniting individuals and businesses to support families facing the
challenges of critical illness.
