Fairhaven's resident naturalist & historian Emily Alvarez and Barefoot Joel will lead a tour through our beautiful park and together we will attempt to identify several of our 75 different species of trees hundreds of species of birds and other wildlife that call Fairhaven Memorial Park home. Along the way we'll find famous memorials including Leo Fender and Corrie ten Boom and learn about influential historical figures buried in the park since it was established by Oliver Halsell in 1911. This is a slow easy walk on soft slightly uneven grass but please wear comfortable shoes that you would not mind getting wet. This monthly series usually happens on the 2nd Saturday of every month.
