New Class! Join us with plant expert Josh Smith from Bear Mountain Forest Nursery as he teaches us grafting 101 on Wednesday June 5th from 6-8 pm. He will be showing us grafting techniques at the farm by utilizing the root stock of the invasive bird cherries and creating something less invasive and better for our environment. As a BONUS he is also the mastermind behind the Future Crops Initiative and will be sharing an update on his hazelnut research. Class will be held at the Matanuska Experiment Farm and Extension Center in room 208 of Kerttula Hall and outside. Please dress appropriately.
