Tree Climbing Workshop

Learn to safely and effectively flow through the canopy. This event is taught by tree climbers Coach Seth Rubin and Gabriel Martinez.
About this Event

South Florida is the only region in the continental United States which supports aerial root trees. You may know them as banyans, ficus or strangler figs. These magestic trees can grow to gigantic sizes with the most intricate of pattens. Walking up to a large banyan feels like stepping into a natural cathedral.

Our goals with this class:

• Teach safe, effective and sustainable tree climbing methoods.
• Educate on the science and history of these trees
• Foster appreciation for the natural world

There is something so primally satisfying about finding a tree, looking up, and without a second thought, scaling towards the sky.
