Tree City USA Award & Richmond Tree Week Kick-off Tree Planting & Giveaway

Join the City of Richmond’s Urban Forestry Division and Department of Parks & Rec, as we kick off Richmond Tree Week! In recognition of the City's 32nd year, we will be receiving our Tree City USA designation from our partners at the Virginia Department of Forestry. We invite community members to then help us plant our 2024 Arbor Day tree in recognition of this day, as well as learn about all the other events happening throughout the city during RTW. Be sure to take home your own baby tree from our RTW Tree Giveaway Station (while supplies last).
